At 42 years old, I am a proud mother of two and the owner of a home daycare, where I dedicate my days to nurturing and guiding young children. My path to this moment has not always been easy. I did not have a simple upbringing, and many of my challenges shaped the resilience and determination I carry today.
As an adult learner, I felt a strong need to further my education — not only to grow professionally, but to prove to myself that my past does not define my future. Balancing coursework, running a business, and raising my children has required persistence and sacrifice, but it has also strengthened my confidence and purpose.
At the same time, I have been committed to focusing on my health and weight-loss journey, working toward becoming the strongest and healthiest version of myself — physically, mentally, and emotionally. This season of life has been about growth in every sense.
One of the greatest blessings of this journey is graduating alongside my daughter, who is 21 years younger than me. Sharing this milestone together is something I will cherish forever.
My children are my biggest supporters and my greatest motivation. Everything I do is rooted in showing them that no matter where you begin, you can rise, rebuild, and succeed.
