Research Academic Options

Step 1: Create a list of schools you want to check out and then dig into their websites.

Already know what you want to study? Compare programs and opportunities at different colleges.

Not sure what you want to study? Look for programs where you can dig into something you love to do to build a career path that’s meaningful to you.

Step 2: Review the academic programs that interest you, including the curriculum. Then read the faculty bios to get a sense of the professional experience and area of expertise each bring to their program and the college. Expert faculty will bring your area of study to life.

Explore the internship and research opportunities and the professional connections each program offers. Real-world experience will build your resume, and connections in the field will help launch your career.

All VTSU programs offer hands-on learning and real-world experience built into the curriculum. And with 500+ community partners, you’ll have so many opportunities for internships, service learning, and research experiences at VTSU, too.

We’ll help you transform “I love to build things” or “I love to share what I know” or “I want to help people” into an academic and career path that feels right to you.
