What is an Online program?

Online programs: Teaching and learning takes place over the internet, allowing students to access course materials, interact with instructors and peers, and complete assignments remotely. Some programs may require in-person meetings, residency, or fieldwork.

Vermont State’s Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Foundations of Education offers an individually designed learning opportunity for professionals in education and other fields driven to pursue graduate-level inquiry and develop unique projects in their field.

With the support of a dedicated faculty mentor, you’ll design a program of study to meet your personal and professional goals. Learn within a dynamic online community through virtual seminars led by professionals from a variety of disciplines. Expand your content-specific knowledge, learn sophisticated methods of analysis, and delve into advanced research projects, applied professional projects, and/or original critiques, proposals, literature studies, and more with an emphasis on scholar-practitioner inquiry. This program is designed for professionals who hold a master’s degree in any discipline (GPA 3.0 required).
