Student Stories

“I have always been a knowledge seeker and question ponderer. The Foundations of Education program allowed me to cultivate these parts of myself with refined tools. I have finally been able to build a foundation of grounded credibility for new and old beliefs, and values. Along the way, I had to let go of, discard, and renegotiate beliefs and understandings that did not hold up under scrutiny, critique, and new knowledge.”

Sarah Jo Willey

“Applying to a program where I got to design a lot of the content was definitely out of my comfort zone. I was used to taking classes with clear goals and assignments. However, I was happily surprised how empowering it was to study exactly how I wanted, and design creative ways to show my learning. I would highly recommend this program to anyone.”
