Student Stories

a young man leaning against a brick wall.

“There’s a lot of one-on-one with professors. If you don’t understand something, you can meet with them, and they’ll explain it. The amount of help they offer is great.”

Maison DeJesus

“I learned when to step up and take charge and when to rely on the strengths of others (group projects and presentations). I learned the world is bigger than my tiny corner of it (trips with Dr. Strokanov to China, Russia, Vietnam). I even learned how to farm (Dr. Farrell!).”
