Student Stories

Rita Veve smiling at the camera with dental exam glasses hanging around her neck.

I love that this field allows me to teach others how to improve their oral health, while also offering job stability and flexibility for our family. Earning my associate degree provided me with the clinical skills I needed to become a licensed dental hygienist, and I’m now working to complete my bachelor’s degree to open up more opportunities in education, public health, and beyond.
