Vermont State’s Mathematics Concentration sets you on a rigorous quest to discover patterns in numbers. As a math major, you will acquire a broad and solid base in mathematics which will prepare you for both further study and a range of careers. The Mathematics Concentration includes electives in Python and Java programming as well as special topics like logic in music and art. Our knowledgeable and supportive mathematics faculty teach in the realms of pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and statistics to inspire you to understand and harness the power of these disciplines.
