LYNDON CENTER — Greggfest, a celebration of music honoring the legacy of a musician and Lyndon State College student, will be held at the school on May 2 and 3 with 13 different acts, including high school musicians, campus bands, and more.

It will be the 11th year for the event celebrating Jake Gregg. A group of students in the Music, Business and Industry program began the tradition.

“They began this festival as an assignment for a collaboration class,” said Charlotte Morris, president of the Music Entertainment Industry (MBI) Student Association (MEISA) Chapter at Vermont State University-Lyndon (formerly LSC). “It started small but once they had a purpose to continue it, it only kept growing.”

This year’s event will also feature disc jockeys, alumni, and the Modern Fools from New Hampshire, as well as Lost My Balance, a group from Boston, as the headliners.
