Junior social work majors visited the Vermont State House on March 21st to take part in Social Work Advocacy Day, sponsored by the Vermont Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. Students attended caucuses, committee meetings, and met with State Treasurer Mike Pieciak to discuss economic policies that align with the social work values. Students also were introduced on the floor of the House chamber for a reading of a resolution honoring social workers and March as Social Work Month.
