Registration Information

Registration for New Students

Incoming undergraduate students enrolling in a degree program work with Student Success Advisors to complete course registration. After you are admitted, the Admissions Office will be in touch with your first steps to take in the enrollment and registration process.

Incoming graduate students enrolling in graduate degree programs receive advising and course registration information from the Office of Graduate Studies after admission.

Registration for Non-Matriculating Students

To sign up for undergraduate or graduate classes without seeking a degree, you can register as a non-matriculating student. You can register easily for up to three courses by completing a simple course registration form.

Note: If you are a high school student seeking to register for a course, please do not use this form. See below for more info on registering as a high school student.  

Registration for High School Students

If you are currently in high school and not yet applying to the university to pursue a degree but would like to register for a course, you can sign up by completing our course registration form for high school students.

For courses taken at your high school or technical center location, please work with your school counselor or advisor for course selection. Registration for Current Students

If you are a current student at Vermont State, you can find information on registering for courses for the upcoming term in the VSCS Portal.

Use the VSCS Portal to select or register for courses and find information about registration deadlines, advising services, adding or dropping courses, and more. Log into the portal, then click the “Class Registration” tile on your dashboard.
