The U.S. Department of Education has awarded a five-year, $820,000 grant to two Vermont State University faculty to help address the shortage of K-12 school-based mental health providers.

Vermont State University Lyndon Alumni Win at New England Emmy Awards; Students Earn Honors in 2023 Student Production Awards
Alumni of Vermont State University’s Lyndon campus took home twelve awards at the New England Emmy Awards, a division of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, which took place on June 10, 2023. In total, twenty-two alumni were nominated and eight garnered awards. Also in attendance were six Vermont State Lyndon students who earned recognition at the 2023 Student Production Awards.

Vermont State University (VTSU) announced today that it received accreditation from its governing body, the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) at its June 16 meeting held in York Harbor, Maine. NECHE found that VTSU met all nine accreditation standards, which range from academic programming to integrity and transparency.
