Vermont State students, faculty, and staff are closely connected to the communities where they live, work, and learn. This connection strengthens student learning experiences and builds collaborative internship, research, and employment opportunities. It also strengthens the communities that surround our campuses across the state as students and staff serve on local boards, volunteer with community efforts, and put their education and experience into action in real-world settings. The university also serves as a gathering place, for students, faculty, and community members to share in sporting and theatrical events, participate in regional conferences, and join other local events.
