We’re on the hunt for energetic, creative students who want to show the world what life at Vermont State University is really like — behind the scenes, unfiltered, and all YOU. Meet our current ambassadors and get in touch if you’re interesting in joining the program.
About the Role
As a student social media ambassador, you’ll be expected to:
- Create fun, authentic, edited content (45 seconds to 1 minute reel-style videos) for TikTok, Instagram, and Youtube to be approved by the University Communication team.
- Be consistent (not stressed) — a few awesome posts (2 to 3 a month) go a long way!
- Attend monthly (quick) check-ins with the Communications Team.
- Capture behind-the-scenes moments from campus events to everyday life.
- Share what it’s really like to be a VTSU student.
- Represent VTSU with pride, positivity, and school spirit.
Social media ambassadors play an important role in highlighting safe and positive events on campus. Students are required to follow VTSU’s Student Code of Conduct and Social Media policies.
