NIMS/ICS Training
Training is a foundational piece of emergency planning a response. Members of the VTSU Emergency Management Team as well as Public Safety officers receive training in the following areas, as well as ongoing professional development in related areas.
FEMA recommends using Internet Explorer 6 or higher (Windows) or using Firefox 1.5 (Windows or Mac) to take Independent Study courses.

- IS-100.c Introduction to the Incident Command System

Community EMP Training
VTSU will conduct exercises to prepare response personnel, faculty, staff, and students, as warranted. For more information on training regarding the Emergency Management Plan, please contact our emergency management staff.
