At Vermont State University, we believe in the transformative power of educational travel. From expanding your language skills and cultural knowledge to exploring new interests, traveling will change your perspective and deepen your education — whether your adventure lasts ten days or a whole year! To encourage students from all majors to explore off-campus study, Vermont Sate offers access to three unique study away opportunities:
We work with several programs and universities to provide you with an array of foreign study options to meet your interests, goals, and align with your academic plan.
Vermont State University’s membership in the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) allows you to spend a semester or academic year studying abroad for the cost of Vermont State University tuition and room and board, plus travel and administrative fees. ISEP has campuses all over the globe with courses in English and many other languages, where you can take part in traditional coursework, complete internships, or participate in service learning.
U.S. college students can study at twenty-nine international universities while earning academic credit. Semester, summer, January term, and academic-year programs are available.
CIS offers semester- and year-long study abroad programs. Host institutions range from large, English-speaking universities to small study centers with an emphasis on language and culture.
With API, you can combine study abroad or an internship with virtual classes.
Education First specializes in language immersion programs lasting from two weeks to nine months.
